In addition, Life Science professionals sometimes have difficulty agreeing on exact causes and effects of certain medical conditions. Many incurable diseases are in this group. Because Experts have differing opinions, most funding safely focuses on drug treatment expectations and not research aimed at cures. The current rate of cure production(i.e. new target vaccines) is significantly less than in previous times. Importantly, Creative Research and subsequent Applied Research focused on incurable and orphan(rare) diseases is also declining. These types of health problems need repeatedly new approaches and scientific creativity to be resolved.
Our current medical research may sometimes suffer a “seeing the forest through the trees” problem. Science naturally allows for many paths and because most are not completely wrong, some scientists’ lives are in “EXPERT” grooves(government included).
